Kirkleatham Museum - SIFI exhibition

October of last year I attended a Museum exhibition at Kirkleatham museum, It was based on a load of different sifi movies. My faourite (the only films ive seen) were Star Wars and The Alien vs Predator.
The quality of the photos arent very good, as they were taken on my phone.

Star Wars

Plot: Luke Skywalker joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a wookiee and two droids to save the universe from the Empire's world-destroying battle-station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the evil Darth Vader.

Star Wars, Directed and wrote by George Lucas.
Production Designer: John Barry
Costume designer: Trisha Biggar
Andrew Ainsworth designed the original stormtrooper costume in 1976

Alien vs Predator

Plot: During an archaeological expedition on Bouvetøya Island in Antarctica, a team of archaeologists and other scientists find themselves caught up in a battle between the two legends. Soon, the team realize that only one species can win.

H. R. Giger designed the aliens and predators.
He lived a very sucsessful and famous life after these major creations and it wasnt untill earlier this year his
career ended as did he.
Giger's most distinctive stylistic innovation was that of a representation of human bodies and machines in a cold, interconnected relationship, he described as "bio-mechanical". His main influences were painters Ernst Fuchs and Salvador DalĂ.
